  Robert from California Disc Jockey was a great choice for my company holiday party. I am the office manager of a start up tech company based in San Mateo-our holiday party was held at the Computer History Museum in Mt View (there were about 150 guests). I told Rob that we wanted the party to be really energetic  and club-like from the start–he did not disappoint. He had some really awesome lights that made that whole room look really cool.

  Rob was super responsive to all my emails and requests. He made himself available to come all the way down to Mt View (from San Francisco) to check out the venue with me and find the best location for his set up. He responded same day to all my emails and questions.

  Another great thing about Robert is that his prices are very affordable. It is a really great price for the value that you get when you hire Rob.

  Robert  was the DJ for our wedding in late July. He was awesome. He stayed in close contact with us throughout the planning of the reception and he was very thorough. He made sure that our wedding reception was comfortable and fun for everyone.

  He played a variety of music that appealed to everyone, and everyone was dancing all night, even our older relatives! He did an amazing job and he was very professional.

  We first experienced Robert  at our friend’s wedding in 2010 in Santa Cruz, CA. When my, now husband, and I got engaged last year, the first call we made after deciding on our date and venue was Robert. He did such an amazing job at our friends’ wedding that we knew we had to have him!

  We got married this past July in Sebastopol, CA and Robert lived up to expectations! From start to finish, we couldn’t have asked for more. We had a tricky outdoor venue in which we needed sound in three different areas of the property and Robert offered to do a walk-through a month prior to the wedding to put us at ease that all would work out seamlessly. He drove all the way from the East Bay to meet us in Sebastopol, which was above and beyond his call of duty.

  On the day of the ceremony, everything went off without a hitch. He had all the music lined up that I had sent him ahead of time (ceremony, dinner, wedding party intros, first dances) and when it came time to hit the dance floor, he kept the crowd on their feet for more than 2 hours of great song after another.

  And last but not least, Robert’s pricing is completely reasonable, especially in the wedding industry where felt like we got ripped off by every other vendor. We spent exactly what we wanted to spend for the DJ and it was worth every penny. If you are looking for the best value for the money on your wedding day, count on Robert  — he doesn’t disappoint!!

  We had Robert do our company holiday party, and he did a great job. Good mix of music and kept the party going. We would recommend him to any event and will use him again in the future.

  Robert DJ’d our Holiday Employee party.  Everyone had a great time.  We submitted a list of songs ahead of time since we have an eclectic group of people with differing tastes.  He did a great job and it was a very successful!

  Robert was an awesome DJ for our wedding.  He came out to the venue, which wasn’t close, and checked out the space a few months before the wedding.  He also stayed extra late to keep the party going.  He did an amazing job…I have recommended him to all of my friends getting married in the area.  Thanks Robert!

  DJ Robert  is a fabulous addition to any party. DJ Robert worked two parties for us this past weekend. The first was a party for 60 thirteen year old kids from our daughter’s school. The next evening was a 50th birthday party bash for my husband.

  DJ Robert instinctively knew what each crowd would want to hear. The 13 year olds were so impressed with his record spinning skills and his song choices that they asked that I TELL the middle and high school to start hiring DJ Robert for the school dances. High praise indeed as these kids are taste arbiters. He had the kids on the dance floor from start to finish. They didn’t really want to break for pizza and cookies!

  For my husband’s party, he delivered to the taste of the crowd — a great mix of 80’s, 90’s and current hits. He had all guests on the dance floor and broke out an amazing laser light show. Our backyard and the neighborhood was transformed into a dazzling display of light. To say it was magical would be an understatement. The light show extended onto trees, buildings, and the night sky. Phenomenal — our guests were very impressed with his playlist and his light show.

  From our first email correspondence to him breaking down the party last night, DJ Robert was a consummate professional, very responsive to my first inquiry and would return any email or call I had for him leading up to the parties in swift time. I can say that prior to finding DJ Robert, I had searched Yelp for other DJs, the response time for these other DJs was definitely lacking. In fact one of them didn’t return my inquiry for over a week! By that time I had hired DJ Robert and I am happy I did!

  I truly believe that a good DJ makes for a great party, a GREAT DJ like Robert, makes for a MEMORABLE party. Both parties were just that thanks to his skills.

  We could not have been more pleased with Robert as our DJ. He communication was excellent and he was a pleasure to deal with. The main thing that I wanted to most for our wedding was for people to dance, dance, dance and that is exactly what they did!!! Never have I had so much fun!!! Everyone raved about Robert and we are so glad that we found him!!! He was very fun and accommodating and the light show was a blast!!! As professional as they come 🙂 Thanks man!!!

  Robert did an amazing job at my son’s going away party.  My son leaves for the Marines Bootcamp and we hired Robert to DJ his going away party.  The dance floor was never empty and we had a mixture of older and young people and he satisfied EVERYONE’S TASTE!!  I would recommend Robert 200% as a DJ at any party.  Every request that was asked of him he was able to supply.

  Hire Robert of California Disc Jockeys and he will not let you down! Thank you Robert for making our party one to remember!!!

  We’ve had Robert DJ our school fund-raising fall carnival for the last several years and he never lets us down. The kids LOVE all the music he plays and so do the adults. He’s also great at manning the karaoke part of the event and emceeing anything else we needed. He’s very flexible and accommodating to changes in the plan throughout the event. And he always does it with a smile!! I recommend him for any of your DJ needs!

  Robert was more than just the audio for our school Walkathon this past weekend, he was an integral part of our team.  Our event is 4 high energy hours with nearly 1,000 K-6 graders and their parents.  Robert was nothing short of amazing the whole day.  Aside from knowing just the right songs to play throughout the day, he handled lost kids, announced the name of every participant who completed the course, gave instructions to volunteers, cheered the kids on and more.  The event would not be the same without him.
