DJ Adam, Bay Area - California Disc Jockeys

My name is Adam Barrera I was born in San Francisco.
My DJ career began, as my love for music became a passion. This first record I bought was “Double Dutch Bus” Frankie Smith.

I remember going to my middle school dances and thinking “I can do what this dj is doing” and probably better.With the help of my mom and dads home stereo, I started playing music at the dances. My parents loved the idea of me occupying my time with music, and it did keep me out of trouble.

I started as mobile DJ when i first got my drivers license. How funny I remember my parents giving me rides to my “early teen” gigs because I did not have a license.

I am bilingual and this led me to dee jaying Bautizos (Baptisms) Quinceaneras and Bodas (Weddings) I would borrow my parents record collection to do some of the Latin gigs people were calling me for. Dee Jaying in San Francisco eventually gave way to the S. F. Club Scene. Whether it is Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Banda, Nortenas, Mariachi Bachata, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, Dance, House, Latin House, Reggae, Dance Hall. I love bringing a Club, Restaurant, Wedding, Special Event or any party to life!!!

I have served as an MC and coordinator for many events such as Weddings, Quinceaneras, Bar-Bat Mitzvahs, School Dances and many other types of parties and celebrations.

Coordinating the time of events is my pleasure. My job is to work with our customers as well as other event coordinators to create a smooth and timely flow of events. I work hand in hand with all professionals like Photographers, Videographers etc.. My fluency in the Spanish language also allows me to work and translate in any given situation.

I am grateful for the opportunity to help people create their Wedding or Special Day memories as it continues to be a very rewarding experience in my life. We have been providing DJ services in the Bay Area since the early 90s, selecting and mixing an extensive library of American Top 40, Dance, Oldies, 80s, Hip Hop, All Genres.
